God of infinite goodness and love,
we thank you for the bountiful graces and blessings,
you have poured out on our Congregation,
these past hundred and forty years.

We are deeply grateful to you for our charism
gifted to us through our Foundress Mother Veronica,
and kept alive and growing
by the dedicated and inspiring lives of our sisters,
giving vigour to our lives
and a sense of direction to our missionary endeavours.

As we look forward with ardent hope
to the forthcoming General Chapter,
we implore you for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit
to move and inspire the Chapter Delegates
to think and deliberate according to your purpose and plan.
Set our hearts on fire for a total renewal of our lives
and greater commitment to our mission.

May your Spirit enable us to meet the challenges of our time
by being true contemplatives, deeply rooted in faith.
Give us a clarity of vision in our apostolate,
so that in all that we are and do
we infuse new life and hope into our people,
bring peace and wholeness to the broken world,
with a special love for the poor and the marginalized.

We make this prayer
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
with Mary our Mother of Carmel
and the intercession of Mother Veronica our Foundress. Amen.
